Mashed potatoes & gravy, bananas, water, Juicy Juice, half a brisket sandwich from Bucees, and I attempted to even have a cubed steak that my Granny cooked, but that was a failure. I tried to do entirely too much on day 1. Day 2, I'm chillin. We did take a trip to Bucees, because Mom and Grandma have never been. They both agreed that the hype was ALL hype lol. Of course, Mama had to get her picture with Bucee!
I wanted to get back in the gym today, but I'm gonna sit at the house and do NOTHING. My mom and grandma have been here with me all weekend, from the show up until and after the surgery. They have been the biggest help, along with the love of my life and all of his family, as well.
I've had visitors and folks to drop off things for me, so many texts, facetimes, social media comments and DM's, of folks just sending well wishes. The love has been so beautiful!
I almost barely attempted to see if I could sing! LOL but it was awful, so I left that alone! But it's there!
Just the thought of my vocal cords being operated on, is possibly the scariest thing I could ever imagine. However, I had already made up my mind that even if it came down to me not being able to hold a single note, that as long as I was connected to the music in one or another and that I could still be able to make a difference with music involved, that would be more than enough for me. I've prayed that prayer many times and I believe that, but if God has more in store for me and the stage is where he wants me, then I'll take that too!
I'm excited to see where and who this journey connects me to! Cheers to recovery!
I'll keep yall posted about what new baby foods I try next! LOL
